USSSA Event Guidelines and Policies
Game Day Expectations
Start Times: Teams must be ready to begin 15 minutes prior to their scheduled game time.
Example: For 8:00 AM games, the plate meeting is at 7:45 AM.Field Access:
No team members allowed on the clay during field maintenance.Warm-Ups:
Pitchers and catchers may warm up on the clay or warning track only.
Catchers must wear a helmet while warming up.Equipment Rules:
All bats must have the USSSA thumbprint. Bats without the thumbprint will result in ejection of both the player and coach.Cheering and Noise:
Music must be clean and free of profanity.
Players may not bang on metal or aluminum while cheering.Tents:
All tents must be properly secured, no exceptions.Weather Delays:
In case of lightning or other weather issues, everyone must vacate the facility and seek shelter when directed.Rule Enforcement:
Teams (including spectators) violating rules are subject to ejection, forfeit, or suspension.
Coaches and managers are responsible for their entire team, including spectators, not USSSA.Zero tolerance for arrogant or inappropriate behavior. Violators will be removed without refund.
Rosters and Check-In
Rosters must be complete and submitted online by the Friday before the event, including all guest players.
Rosters will be locked Friday evening.
A printed copy of team insurance must be presented at check in.Animal Policy
The only animals allowed at events are trained service animals as defined by the ADA.
Emotional support animals, pets, and service animals in training are not permitted.
Under Florida Statute 413.08, emotional support animals do not qualify as service animals.
Those with trained service animals PER THE ADA will be required to sign a waiver.
Violators will be removed without refund, and their team may be disqualified.
Note: This policy is strictly enforced.
No scooters, RipStiks, Heelys, skateboards, or similar items are allowed.
Uniforms and Jerseys
All players must wear jerseys with unique numbers.
Use tape to alter duplicate numbers if necessary.Gate Fees and Payments
This event requires a team gate fee (amount will be announced 1 to 2 weeks prior).
Motorhome parking is NOT allowed.

Venmo (3.5% processing fee)
CashTournament and gate fees may be paid together.
Once a team confirms entry, withdrawal is not allowed without paying both the tournament and gate fees. ONCE A TEAM CONFIRMS ENTRY THEY ARE FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE EVENT.Weather Policy and Refunds
In case of weather or unforeseen cancellations:
Credits may be issued, depending on the number of games played.No credit will be given if 2 or more games have been played. If the entire event is canceled, USSSA may retain up to 15% of fees to cover administrative costs.
Other Notes:
USSSA reserves the right to make tournament adjustments at any time.
